Roots in Bangladesh
We’re a small family farm in Maple Ridge, BC—starting from scratch, with a dream we’ve carried in our hearts for years.
We come from Bangladesh, where nature was part of everyday life; where we grew up with cows and goats in the yard, chickens in the back, and muddy feet under the sun. Those days didn’t just raise us—they rooted us. They taught us that a good life is a grounded one.
“Life wasn’t always easy, but it was real—it was honest, grounded, and deeply connected to the Earth.”
The Unstoppable Will
My husband, a man of unstoppable passion and courage, has weathered life’s storms. The tide pulls, but his will pulls harder. He worked many kinds of jobs, but never stayed long—because his heart was never meant for the 9-to-5.
He didn’t want a life bound by commutes, office lights, or missed family dinners—a life spent staring at screens while his children grew up unnoticed in the blur of everyday moments.
A Quiet Restlessness
He came to Canada with hope in his heart—carrying a quiet dream of building something meaningful. Something that could support his family while giving him the freedom to live life on his own terms.
After I joined him, we found ourselves surrounded by concrete walls, deadlines, and the noise of city life. Though we were grateful, something inside us remained restless. City life felt like a cage.
We lived paycheck to paycheck—quietly wondering: Is this the life we came to build?
Life We Dreamt Of
We wanted or kids to grow up learning where real food comes from, to know the value of work, of dirt under their nails, of kindness to animals. To make their own butter and cheese and learn where real food comes from. To live close to the earth and to their own nature.
Lessons we want to pass on
Here, our kids learn that every seed has a season, every effort has a purpose, and every challenge brings its own reward. Farming teaches them patience, resilience, and the understanding that good things take time.
Skills come from doing, not just watching
From tending animals to planting vegetables, they learn how to care, how to observe, and how to solve problems with their own hands. These are practical skills that build confidence and independence.
Character is shaped in the quiet moments
Waking up early, feeding animals, and finishing the day with tired hands teaches humility, perseverance, and gratitude. The farm becomes a place where values take root and grow strong.
Nature becomes a classroom
They learn where food really comes from, how ecosystems work, and why every creature matters. The rhythm of the seasons connects them deeply to the world beyond screens and schedules.
Responsibility and work ethic grow with each chore
When kids care for animals or tend a garden, they learn that their actions matter. They understand commitment, consistency, and the pride that comes from doing honest work well.
“The goal of life is to make your heartbeat match the beat of the universe, to match your nature with Nature.”— Joseph Campbell
Even with little in our pockets, we took the fearless leap. Every coop we built, every seed we planted, every animal we’ve cared for—has been done with love, intention, and a deep belief in this life we’re creating.
We started our journey with chickens and sheep—just the basics, but a humble beginning. We’re not just building a farm—we’re building a lifestyle. One that values **simplicity, sustainability, and community**. As we grow, we plan to introduce ducks, goats, cows, and more.
Our Core Mission
No matter how much we expand, **our mission will remain the same:** to create a space where nature, animals, and people can thrive together.
We are raising a way of life: a life of self-reliance, kindness, sustainability, and community.
